Lexico Sounds is a game to enhance cognitive and auditory skills.
Children can learn and discover sounds from all walks of life: animals, music instruments, home, workplace and nature sounds. The app is well suited for small children as all navigation is by icons. The game is played by dragging sounds onto the corresponding image.
There are 20 puzzles with various subjects: farm animals, wild animals, birds, humans, classical instruments, modern instruments, percussion instruments, toys, household appliances, foods, cutting+breaking, office tools, vehicles, construction, police, alarm signals, weather, public places, footsteps, sports.
For advanced players, there is a game mode in each category. The aim is to associate as many sounds to the corresponding images within 1 minute. High scores are recorded and can be shared by mail or on social networks.
Lexico Sounds is free, including the category "animals". All other levels can be unlocked with one in-App purchase.

This was an app that someone had recommended but obviously NOT!! Sounds are off kilter, you tap on one icon and the previous icon continues to play. Just the worst.
I downloaded the free version and it only played one sound for each category so I decided to purchase the whole version to unlock all the sounds but it never worked. It took my money and the app remained the same. Non of the sounds of the free version or the upgrade work when you press the button.
